As the end of term approaches us, why not try one of these ideas to celebrate the end of the term with your class in French or Spanish?

Set up an ice-cream stall and order ice-creams in French or Spanish – an inexpensive way is to just do ice-pops or cheap tub of ice cream and cones.
Have plastic euros and ask the children to make some menus in the target language the week before to order from.

Have a French or Spanish cafe inside or outside with croissants or brioche. To keep costs down cut brioche or croissants into small pieces or pretend with pictures of food instead.

Create a Spanish or French bakery and ask children to come and buy items from the bakery.

Have a special Spanish or French breakfast, add table cloths, music in the TL and backdrop like a hotel breakfast room or cafe.

Create a shop in the classroom and buy things with plastic euros to enjoy!

Ask children to create menus and signs for any of the above!
