Bonjour! ¡Hola! Thank you to those schools who have already signed up for the translatathon this year! Details are attached. Please contact myself or Kay if you have any questions.
This week, why not try this idea?
Children’s learning is always inspired by food! It also creates a more sensory experience which helps to create a clearer memory of something!
Fruit Market and/or fruit tasting!
Lesson 1
Teach simple vocabulary and phrases to use at the market.
Use these songs to assist the learning.

Lesson 2
Ask the children to bring in some fruits of their choice or alternatively you can have pictures on cardboard.
Set up the classroom like a fruit market stall.
Use plastic euros to buy the fruits
Alternatively do fruit tasting and use preference phrases with the vocabulary to express likes and dislikes!
Don’t forget to sign up for one of our 2 remaining free CPD events this academic year. Our next one is in March!
Bonne chance!
